Property Summary

Category: HouseBedrooms: 4Bathrooms: 4Garage: Double

This brand new home in Sydney, was designed and constructed by local architect William Zuccon.
This fact makes it obvious that he would have also been responsible for the decor, which I quite like, but it is the bones of the home that really appeals to me.

Considering the home is over three levels, they didn’t photograph many of the rooms, but we get the idea…

The kitchen would have to be my favorite space in this home.

AND here’s what the Agent had to say!

Inspired contemporary design

Positioned in one of Double Bay’s most prized enclaves, only footsteps to the waterfront, this brand new contemporary home has been designed by architect William Zuccon. One of a pair, the unique Torrens titled residence has been created with meticulous attention to detail, exceptional use of space and an air of understated sophistication. Wonderfully private and impeccably appointed, this perfect executive or family residence showcases the very best of inspired modern design.

Spanning three levels, the home contains four bedrooms with built-in robes and four sophisticated limestone bathrooms with under-floor heating, including two ensuites. A versatile sitting or media room can be utilised as a private guest suite if desired. The free-flowing living space encompasses a fully integrated gourmet gas kitchen with twin fridges, a walk-in pantry and top of the range appliances. Sliding doors open the space to the north-facing terrace, shaded by a retractable awning, complete with a gas bayonet for the barbeque.

William Zuccon has personally overseen every element of the home’s design and construction, from the broad brushstrokes down to the fine details, guaranteeing exceptional build quality. The finest quality materials have been sourced from around the globe to create an atmosphere of contemporary yet timeless luxury, with uncluttered spaces and clean lines. Enjoying a perfect northerly aspect and a wide frontage, it employs the extensive use of glass to optimise natural light. It has been designed for both minimum maintenance and maximum energy efficiency.

Features and finishes have been carefully selected to maximise the home’s aesthetic appeal, comfort and functionality. Unique limestone imported from Oman graces the floors, kitchen benchtops and outdoor areas. A 2000 litre rainwater tank irrigates the garden areas, double auto garaging features convenient internal access and there is an abundance of cleverly integrated storage space. Multi zoned ducted reverse cycle air conditioning is found throughout and extensive use of adjustable glass louvres provide excellent cross flow ventilation. State of the art security with video intercom ensures complete peace of mind.

Enjoying a particularly peaceful harbourside address with a lovely leafy outlook, 1 Stafford Street offers ultimate ease and convenience. The waterfront is just metres from its front door and it is just a few minutes level walk via Galbraith Walkway to the heart of Double Bay.
