I was tipped off about this gorgeous home by a reader of my blog
(thank you Karen!)
and I have to say, I love it – and if you wanna buy it,
it’s affordable at under a million!

Love the front gate…

If you’ve ever wondered what highly glossed ebanize stained timber floors look like, have a look at the hallway – wow – that is gorgeous!

I love the contrasting colours in this room, I’m such a fan of citrus!
That mirror on the mantel is divine!

Polished concrete on the kitchen floors, and there’s my fav citrus again!

I have to say, that is a cute window with the white shutters!

What a great looking bathroom – whole wall of mosaic, that is divine!
Walk in shower, no base – that’s very “now”!

I guess this home is for people who don’t want a large rear yard, this is small, maintenance free.

AND here’s the Master Plan!

And here’s what the Agent had to say!

Expect the best … you deserve it!
In the heart of Maylands, beautiful leafy wide street, surrounded by old character homes and a proud sense of community will surround you everyday! This 1850 cottage has been superbly renovated with a clever blend of old and new which will take your breath away.
From the glass front door you enter this amazing home to highly glossed ebanize stained timber floors which flow through to the rear. 2 elegant bedrooms, both with superior built-in robes with glass doors, quality charcoal carpets and white plantation shutters makes these rooms look like a picture in a vogue magazine.

“Wow factor” is the first impression as you enter the separate lounge room and look through to this spectacular extension, using superb modern materials and top of the range fittings. Polished concrete floors sets the scene, with floor to ceiling doors opening onto a groomed garden. Brand new white 2 pac kitchen, stainless steel appliances and central island bench with Caesar stone benchtop, a great place for your friends to sit while you are preparing them a meal in this entertaining environment. Floor to ceiling doors open out to the rear garden with chartreuse green feature wall to enhance this stylish way of living. The open plan kitchen overlooks vast dining area and lounge with a mixture of bi-fold and french doors taking in the superb outdoors. Spacious main bathroom with floor to ceiling porcelain tiles, featuring glass mosaic wall, separate shower with frameless glass screen and glass and stainless steel basin, separate laundry and 2nd w/c.

Other features include reverse cycle air conditioning, security system and even a right of way at side of property for another entrance if you want.

You must not miss this spectacular home, one the best I have seen for some time, and “The Wow factor ” is amazing.

Yes this is FABULOUS. Outside the bedroom window there's potted white flowers on the ledge Cut outs of urns leaning up against the fence. No detail has been overlooked.
    Kind Regards

PS What I didn't put in my last post was that I went to the open of that home it wasn't very busy mostly parents looking for kids I looked for my son but it's out of his price range. Talking to the agent she loved the place the moment she walked into it she said she's sick of walking into the same old floorplan dressed for sale.I agree same furniture same colours BORING. What you don't get from the photos is the detail unless you look hard. Pots of flowers on the window ledge outside the bedroom ,urn cut outs leaning up against the fence etc.
    Kind Regards
    Karen
PS the owner is an artist
