This renovated home (and the one below) have gorgeous paint colours on the wall, and I wanted to post about them for my future reference!

Ok, the decorating is plain, and not my cup of tea,
but I just love that colour on the wall!

Detailed ceilings above, nice.

Obviously kids somewhere around…

This house is saved by the colour on the wall,
just divine with white!

And here’s the Master Plan!

AND here’s what the Agent said about it!

Large renovated family home in sensational location
Lifestyle – This substantial newly renovated family home with a perfect north-to-rear aspect is quietly positioned just a few minutes’ walk to shops, cafes, CBD buses and a children’s playground and just a short stroll to SCECGS Redlands, Reid Park and Mosman Ferry Wharf. On approximately 682 sqm with spectacular enclosed front and rear gardens ideal for children’s play, this gorgeous residence has a lovely leafy outlook and offers five large bedrooms plus a study, several living areas and a generous sandstone entertainers’ terrace at the rear.

Accommodation – Beneath soaring white patterned ceilings decorated with antique c1900 Czechoslovakian chandeliers, a formal lounge room with fireplace flows to a light-filled sunroom wrapped in windows and overlooking the lovely front garden. There is a large adjoining formal dining room and a generous Limestone kitchen with stainless steel appliances. At the rear is an open-plan casual dining area and family room plus a chic third bathroom. French doors open to the sundrenched sandstone entertainers’ terrace and lush garden with discreetly-placed shed/workshop.

Features – On the upper level are four bedrooms with built-ins plus a huge fifth bedroom/rumpus room with an adjoining study overlooking the surrounding districts. The generous master bedroom has a glamorous marble ensuite with frameless glass shower and a large walk-in robe. The ultra-chic main Limestone bathroom features a separate bath and frameless glass shower. The colours in this home are superb. Probably it’s best asset. I am going to try and find that colour and put it in my home too!

I wish I knew the name of that colour on the wall!!!
Check out the detailed ceilings too.

Beautiful kitchen, living areas, again,
I believe the colour on the walls are key.

I haven’t seen a pretty room like this for ages.
Perfect.

AND here’s what the Agent said?

Traditional Federation Elegance, Contemporary Flair – Dual Street Level Access This is a truly magnificent renovation. No expense has been spared, no detail has been left to chance, it’s a residence crafted to the highest standards, and it’s a home of immense appeal and incredible beauty. It’s a masterpiece of style & function perfectly tuned to the needs of today’s busy family. Federation at heart with polished floors and rich colour themes that compliment the high patterned ceilings and original marble fireplace in the formal dining room, and connected formal living room. The transition to the vast, light-filled, open-plan casual living and dining area which in turn lead on to the sun-trap BBQ and alfresco meals area, is smooth and seamless … this is a home focused on easy year-round living & entertaining. Subtle French Provincial influences highlight the remarkable, interacting custom-designed kitchen where carrera marble benches, imported stainless steel appliances, walk in pantry and wine cellar have been created for the cook’s pleasure. The private front verandah enjoys attractive district views and is the perfect place for your morning coffee or sundowners in the afternoon. Over 2 levels- 4 double bedrooms upstairs (all with BIR) including the king-sized master suite with walk in robe and twin ensuite bathroom. The 5th bedroom on the main level with ensuite, and walk in robe is perfect for teenagers, guests, in-laws, rumpus or home office. Main bathroom, powder room, large utility room, masses of storage and DLUG with easy, level, security access at 4 Somerset Street to the rear completes the package. Double garaging, low maintenance gardens, R/C air conditioning, back to base alarm plus a highly sought after, elevated position within easy level walking distance to Mosman Bay and ferry, The Village, local schools and shops make this the perfect choice for families with teens or empty nesters wanting space and position.

I'd say Dulux Hogs Bristle on the walls in the nursery room in the first property.

I agree with littlemissairgap, I think the second property is Dulux Hogs Bristle as well. I have used this on several properties in varying strengths, it always looks fabulous.

I would think it's darker than Hog Bristle and you could get the same effect from Dulux Warm Neutral or Self Destruct. The trick is to team it with a clean white like Natural White or Fair Bianca so you get the depth on the wall. Makes for a very striking background just waiting for some colourful accessories.
