AND here’s what the Agent said about it!

“Little Merton”
Only just completed, the stunning transformation of this glorious Gascoigne Estate c1910 Edwardian residence impressively merges original elegance with a breathtaking contemporary extension that showcases exceptional designer style and the finest quality imported and local finishes and fittings.

Gleaming hardwood floors complement ornate ceilings through entrance hall, beautiful sitting room (OFP), study and gorgeous main bedroom with OFP, bay window, WIR and luxurious en-suite. Three further bedrooms with BIRs share two stylish bathrooms. A gallery dividing old and new features built in wine fridge and clever storage cabinets. Exceedingly high ceilings and expansive use of glass accentuate the generous dimensions through the living and dining room with top of the range Siemens kitchen boasting induction stove, steam oven and coffee maker, marble and stone finishes and butler’s pantry. Vast glass doors reveal picturesque garden with solar heated pool and exotic marble BBQ.

Every detail has been meticulously considered including C-bus lighting, reverse-cycle heating/cooling, irrigation, water tank, return drive and auto-gates.

And here’s…

This pretty home caught my eye at the last minute,
just had to post it,
and it reminds me of my house I’m still reno’ing here!
I hope you like it too!

Lovely contemporary restoration and style.

C’mon, aren’t these two bedrooms gorgeous!

AND here’s what the Agent said about!

“Oak Villa” Victorian with verve and a very desirable address
Make a pretty perfect entry to a pretty perfect central Brighton address. Opening up beyond a gracious lacework verandah, this double-fronted three bedroom Victorian has living flowing from a warm central lounge, to an airy atrium-style dining (or casual) space …and on to a vine-draped entertaining area. Stylishly updated with a stainless-steel appliance kitchen with Bosch dishwasher and a clever two-way ensuite bathroom, there are deep lacquered timber floors throughout and perfectly sized gardens outside – with an impressively wide frontage allowing two carspaces and grounds sized to fit a family today …and a possible extension tomorrow. Minutes’ walk to Church St and central to any number of highly-sought schools, this is a Victorian beauty with verve and a very desirable address.

I so miss living where we did in Melbourne. I used to walk past Little Merton & other homes around it regularly on my way to Central Park. The Gascoigne Estate is such so beautiful … you can easily get a crinked neck admiring the homes as you walk.
I really like the child's room in the Brighton home. I think it's the red that does it for me.
