I had to do a property South Australia tonight as
I just finished watching Australian Story tonight on TV.

Tonight was a story about a crooked
SA Criminal Defence Barrister
who pulled out all stops (and won it seems)
to avoid charges for blatant drink driving,
running over a cyclist, killing him instantly,
fleeing the scene, waiting a good six hours
(after he sobered up of course) before handing
himself into police, as they’d found his car
with the victim’s blood on it and bad damage by then.

Here’s the thing, the legal practitioners Board in
South Australia say his behavior is OK!!!
In fact, they’ve asked him to continue practicing law,
no penalties, or suspensions!
Is that not a disgrace?
Do you think you would get this
red carpet treatment if you committed this
terrible crime where you live,
leaving a wife and two daughters 8 & 10?

Mind you, the victim’s wife has endured
countless hours with disinterested legal people
(police, prosecutors) who simply want her
to shut up and get over it!
She is one hellava courageous woman
with dignity to boot,
unlike the slimey fat thug who
killed her innocent husband.
Can you imagine the strain and frustration
this woman has endured?

Anyway it was only Part One tonight,
Part Two is next week, I’d hope there
might be more justice done by then.
Look here if you are interested in reading
a bit about the story.

So Back To Rose Park!

This property is obviously carefully designed
to take full advantage of the whole block,
including the second story design.

It’s a new home for sale,
but I like what the stylist has done with it,
and I particularly like the architectural design
to maximise space, see what you think!

Yeah, the kitchen is my favorite too!

Annie, thanks so much for your comments on my blog! You made me laugh… I was quite obsessed with Country Road as a teenager back in the early 90s so no doubt all that navy blue ticking stripe had to influence me somehow!!!

I just love the property you selected – so many gorgeous decorating details to file away for future use! I love the huge floor mirror and the buttoned bedhead – the proportions are spot on. Classic and stunning.

Hope you have a great week.
