This is a great looking home. Not too busy, just a relaxing persepctive…
over the water. *sigh*

No obvious signs of the beautiful waters from the street entrance!

Such a wonderful bright perspective looking out over the water.

Looking back into the living area is a bit darker.
That may have something to do with…

…the dark kitchen – very sleek!

(I might add, I don’t know that I’d be game to put an oven that low to the ground with little grashoppers like mine wandering around looking for things to open & shut all day!!!)

Not too shabby a view (almost seamless windows) to wake up to each day.
*sigh*

Design-build can be as simple as using an interior designer in conjunction with the remodeling contractor. But, it is typically for projects that change the structure of the building or increase the building footprint on the property, and will require permits from the planning department.

    Mornin' Annie. How's life?
A great waterfront property. What I would change is the street entrance façade. You can't tell there's a lovely house behind it! Such an expensive house should have a beautiful entrance, shouldn't it?
Can't get enough of those views!

A happy day to you hon!

I thought you might like this – I recently discovered Daniel Ogassian's tile designs at a show in California. His site is at http://www.ogassian.com if you want to check it out.

Daniel creates designer tiles with a clean and futurist shape, warm and organic textures that add depth to any surface.

Take the designer tile in this bathroom that resembles a modern jewelry box: http://farm5.static.flickr.com/4049/4479212635_beb4b9879d.jpg

Daniel used his textured “Optic” tile from his concrete tile collection on the walls, and the sink is by Alape.

The interior design process follows a systematic and coordinated methodology, including research, analysis and integration of knowledge into the creative process, whereby the needs and resources of the client are satisfied to produce an interior space that fulfills the project goals.

A quality design-build contractor has extensive knowledge of real costs and building processes and can design a project that fits your budget parameters. A good design can also save costly mistakes. If a problem arises during a project, it can be taken care of quicker and more efficiently. This ensures quality work and allows a contractor to warranty their projects.
